My mom still needs prayers. I get so frustrated with our healthcare system. I swear, as an adult unless you are bleeding to death or come in coding, the healthcare system stinks. My mom has spent the past 5 days in the hospital battling chest and leg pains with her cholesterol over 400 her kidney's 90% blocked and the drs. have not taking any steps to do any procedure to unblock her. Their answer is "Well it is not 100% blocked" ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!!!!

Needless to say, my mom is no longer at that hospital. She is really concerned about her health (that she will just have a heartattack or stroke). She is going to her PCP tomorrow and I hope demanding that she get into Boston and the procedure done. I am really worried about her. I wish I could be with her b/c you know I would be a bulldog but I can't.

Avery has been pretty junky (more than usual) the last few days. He right lobe sounds crackly and he sats even dropped to the mid 80s today. My nurses luckily are wonderful and able to use all of our equipment and chest pt to get him sounding better. His j-tube has a piece of broken extension in it so it needs to be changed and they could not get us in until Wed. so I got an order for a chest x-ray to see if his pneumonia is resolved. I don't think it is so looks like we may need more abx. He started his neurotin yesterday so fingers crossed this helps him.
