Look who is Home!!!

Okay so this is not a recent picture but he DOES look that good right now. Thanks to many many narcotics. LOL. I have no idea what is going on with him but I THINK I have an idea.

Last week the hospital gave Avery the wrong methadone dose for a few days. Well methadone is a very slow acting med so by Monday I believe his body was feeling the effects of being under treated with it and it seemed as if he was showing signs of withdrawals. So in order to help him, he was put on higher doses of valium, clonodine patch and clonodine by tube as well as his regular high methadone doses. Now if you or I took what he is taking, we would be out for the count and not able to get back up, literally.

But not Avery...... he has not napped in days. It is 10pm as I am blogging and he is STILL not sleeping. So all these meds clearly have an adverse reaction. Crazy boy. Whenever I walk in the room all I see is his pearly whites (can't help but smile back at him)


So has the last few days been. Crazzzy.


Janessa is sick, Isaiah is NOT doing well at all. He is been retching so much lately and holding urine and his blood sugars have been very high. It is now Isaiah's time for some serious attention. Poor kid has alot of issues that NEED to be addressed but Mr. Avery has not let the poor kid get any attention as he has stolen all of his thuunder. But not anymore.......

Work has been soooo crazy the past few days as I have been needing to make up some serious time. So this weekend will not be any better. Janessa needs to go to the peds tomorrow and Isaiah is Finally going to Urodymanics on Mond. for some much needed testing and I still have hearing aids to dispense. But hey, got to eat something other than hospital food with Rick tonight :)

Told you there is never a dull moment around here. But I am getting close to enjoying my glass of wine by the pool :)
