Guess What????

We are GOING HOME TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know, one minute he has pulmonary edema and the next he is going home. Clarification----In rounds this morning the drs. weren't convinced it was PE b/c it was a week after he was septic and just did not make sense. They did another xray and it looked much better. So what they are thinking that since his port was placed on the right side and he had to lay there for a few hrs. that some fluid built up. He sounded much better today. So I am thrilled about that. According to the team, he dodged a major bullet this time. Thank the Lord.

They rechecked his kidneys and they are still swollen. No major concern as they are all in agreement that it is some reminisce of the sepsis. There was no evidence in his heart, kidneys or eyes for "yeast balls" so all is well.

I am so excited that after 2.5 long weeks we get to be a family under one roof again. I have missed so much work and we are going to be super poor next month from all that was missed. But I am happy that we are going home.
