UGH!!!! I knew he did not have a great day today and he went to bed tonight needing oxygen which lately has not been atypical for him. Our the tell tail signs that he is spiking a fever while sleeping is his heartrate skyrockets and so does his respirations. He is currently on 3 liters of O2 to keep his sats. at a comfortable level. Right now he is only registering a low grade fever but he is acting much sicker so I am sure it is to come during the night. Of course there is no nurse tonight so I will be up all night checking his temp and O2. I honestly don't know WHERE or how this kid gets sick, he NEVER leaves the house. I am hoping to ride this out at home, think if he gets through the night and wakes up okay tomorrow he may but then again don't be surprised if we are back in. Of course this is not a good week as Janessa has practice for her recital on Friday night and Sat. is the recital so if we do go in I will need to find someone to take over at the hospital.
I will keep you posted.
