Back from NYC

I had a great time. Although I missed the kids tons. Got lots of shopping done. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love my pocketbooks. I got tons of knock-off bags, wallets, watches and shoes. Awww, such good therapy. Rick did well holding down the fort at home. The boys had no major medical crisis. Thank God.

Isaiah is feeling so much better. I cannot wait for him to start school. He is going to love it.

Avery has yet another ear infection and just looks very ill lately. This boy just really cannot catch a break. Prayers are always needed for my little guy.

Janessa had another week until school. I can't wait for her to get to a normal routine and meet some friends.

Rick is loving his new job. His kids start a school next week, so that is when the craziness begins for him.

Glad you had agood time in NYC. Poor Avery-many ear infections could be from allergies. He shouldn't get so many. Pray his canals get smaller as he gets older so he does not build up so much fluid. Had the interview-Pedi Clinic-they had 20 applicants! Then there is an interview with the Medical Director. She has to interview for 2 more weeks. The only thing there's mostly telephone triage all day and sometimes you do clinic work for a day-vaccines, IVS which I like that part. And there is no set days. The girls set up the schedule a month ahead. If I don't get it, it's not God's plan. There are days I really like this job when I know where I'm going and everything works out well. Then they give me an area that I've never been in-people give wrong directions or don't know awhere they live or you have to meet an interpretor. Then you have to figure out how to get there. And juggle the rest of your schedule around the interpretor time. Sun. worked all day, on call at 5 pm then got a call to do an IV dressing that was coming off all the way to Barre. Got home at 8pm. Got a crank call At 1 am! I have so many mixed emotions re: this job. I know the paperwork now and am faster at the visits when there's not a problem. Love what I'm learning. Hate the insurance part. Daren left for school. I got so emotional-but have to let him go. Paul was worst than I was. Course I had to work the day he moved!
