If you have been reading some of my earlier posts, you may know that Avery has been sick and struggling with reactions to some meds. He did have an ear infection earlier this week but we thought that he was having another tonic reaction to the med but it may have in fact been seizures.
On Sat. Avery was SUPER fussy screaming for 3 hrs and running a high temp. He was making alot of bizarre movements that seemed much more like seizures. So off to the ER we went. We got there at 5pm and they took a ton of blood, urine and xrays to determine the source of his fever. The ER nurse actually witnessed these movement and thought them to be seizures. They are suspecting a UTI at the moment.
We got about 3 hrs. sleep last night. Rick is now taking over at the hospital. They are doing an overnight EEG to see if he is still or even having seizures. Never a dull moment. I will keep you all posted. Say a little prayer for my man.

Hi Niki,
Thinking about you and the family and prayig for you also. You guys are so awesome even though you must not feel that way all the time. The boys look awesome in the pics despite the health problems lately. Lets talk soon.
Love Ang
Hi Nicky,
Laurie and Mia were in town visiting us and we thought of you guys, so here I am checking your blog again to see how things are and to let you know we're all thinking of you, Rick and the kids. Sorry to hear about Avery. We'll keep you guys in our thoughts and prayers. As for your nurse situation, if we were in the same town TRUST ME I'd help you all out in a second. Stay golden and strong (that's what I'll keep telling you for now on). Oh, and by the way, I don't think you're crazy. Just busy. And I heard something the other day that really made me feel a little sane that might help you and that is: When we think our lives are crazy and need balance, that may not be the case because life is not so much able to be "balanced". Instead, it's a constant process of picking and choosing who & what needs us at the moment, going with it, trying our best, and then re-prioritizing all over again. Love, Timika
