More of the same :)

Not much more to report. I just cannot express how grateful I am that the boys are so good these days. It is the simple things in life that I have really come to enjoy. Like the laughter that Avery has every morning when he gets his bath after he is dressed b/c he knows your are going to pick him up (not just laugther but cracking up so much that I am afraid he is going to choke, lol). When Isaiah kicks the crap out of my tv and we have to "sort of punish him" by shutting off the tv for which Avery now loudly complains (as to why he is being punished too) and you also have to laugh b/c Isaiah could care less b/c he is laughing at you for punishing him with that cheeky grin of his. And hearing about Janessa's day and how my daughter understands the game of Big Brother much more than her parents (she is such a great kid). That is what life is truely about, the daily things we take for granted. That is what I am enjoying right now b/c it can be taken away at any moment.

Tomorrow is my 36th birthday. I have been reflecting on what I have learned through the past yr. It is simply enjoying the small things. What do I want for my birthday (other than the coach watch I lost, LOL) is to be home with my FAMILY as much as we can be this yr. I told Rick the other day that Avery is thriving BECAUSE he is home more and not living in the hospital. This boy is literally coming to life again and it is amazing to see. But that is because of the love and care he and Isaiah and Janessa get at home. Which is all Rick and I have to offer.

So it is simple for me for my birthday. Being grateful for what I have and enjoying every minute with my family. Also reducing the drama as much as I can (which means the blogs is going to remain boring).
