Not much has gone on here in terms of answers. Avery got pretty sick respiratory wise when we came up to the floor. He went from sounding pretty good to completely filled up with junk and requiring 40% of O2. He spiked some pretty high temps. last night and required alot of suction.

Today has not been much different only he has been on BIPAP all day and has to stay on it as much as he can because his labs are looking like he is tiring out from working to breath. Although he did scare us with a mucous plug he had and his sats were hanging at 60% (Not good) and he was pretty dusky. Avery likes to keep us on our toes every once and awhile. He is retaining alot of CO2 which he should be blowing it out but its building up. So hopefully he tolerates the BIPAP enough to bring down his number. His flu tests have come back negative and his blood cultures of his central line are negative so far which is great.

This all just came on really quick and he has gotten so mcuh sicker in less than 24 hrs. It could be a virus or psedomonas but it looks like it may be progressing to a pneumonia which is pretty typical for him. Hopefully he will start perking up tomorrow. They did start tamiflu and IV antibiotics to cover things so we will see. I forgot how much it sucks to sit in this place, just don't know how many families do it day in and day out.
