Thought I'd Lighten Up Things

Seems that I have been blogging about sad things lately. So I wanted to put a positive spin on things b/c that is me. Now that I am getting some sleep lately, I am back to myself. So for those of you who don't really know me, I thought I give you a run down of me.

So here goes......

Things I love

* If I was stuck on an island, the 3 things I would take is my ipod (R&B music), wine (red) and pizza

*I am obsessed with brand new books. So no library for me. I absolutely love the book store and go broke there even though I buy books and don't even read even a quarter of them. Just love the smell and looks of them. I will not borrow a book from anyone as I hate bent pages. I need a nice new fresh book. Weird, I know but me

* I love astrology and really believe in it. I will always ask you what is your sign. VIRGO here through and through

* I totally prefer the elderly of any age. Not only b/c I work with them but I just relate so well with them. They are a riot. I once went to a jewerly party and only knew a few people and felt quite uncomfortable, so who did I flock to. Yup, the senior citizens. I am really good with them BTW.

* I used to be quite organized and planned but once kids came along, forget it. Yet after 5 yrs of drs. appts between the boys which are hundreds over the yrs. I don't ever write down any appts. They are all in my head. I have only missed a few over the yrs b/c of scheduling conflicts. God forbid I die b/c nobody will know the kids schedule.

* I am a people lover and could make friends anywhere with anyone and therefore have attracted many freaks along the way. Always a story.

* I have only cried about 3 times since having Isaiah and never with Avery. Just cannot cry but when I watch even the most simple show, boy do I cry then.

* I secretly having a Target shopping addiction. I have a pocketbook and shoe fettish.

*I am very spiritual and yet do not feel I need to be in organized religion for God to hear me

* I secretly wish I was a singer. Man would I command that stage but I am afraid it would sound like the first day at American Idol tryouts.

* I was a track star on the 110 hurdles, yet I am only 4'11

* As social as I am , I love to do things by myself (which I still don't get)

* I love to smile, laugh, and have such compassion for others and love to help out others (the Virgo in me).

* Love to hear about other peoples lives. Just find it interesting. Noisy you might say but I just like to see how others live. Basically, we are not all that different from one another.

* I think one day Rick and I will adopt a child from an underprivaleged home. Crazy, you might say but we have alot of love to give.



Hmmm, can't think of much else. I hope these are things that you did not know about me and you get a little glimpse of me.
