Things are somewhat back to normal. Janessa is feeling good again after a long 4 days of being sick. She was a few steps away from getting IV fluids for dehydration but she was able to start drinking and perking up. Isaiah is definitely back to his crazy self. He is being a little "fresh boy" these days. He has been throwing things down at school that he does not want to do and getting into everything at home. Typical boy.

Avery, WELL..... He is no better. My poor guy in so much pain. He does not sleep at night. He is up hrly screaming in pain. We have to keep changing his positions b/c I think the clot is putting pressure on him when he sleep and it is uncomfortable for him. He was a pretty good sleeper before. During the day he is like a bump on a log. He barely smiles. He has lost most of his milestones. No rolling, grabbing at things or eating my mouth at all. I am so depressed. He has been through so much but this is the worst thus far. He is nothing like he used to be. I feel so bad for him. I am calling the dr. in the am to see if I can get some pain meds stronger than tylenol or motrin (which he cannot take due to bleeding issues). I just want to take away his pain. Nothing worse in life then seeing your child suffer.

As for me. I am sooo sleep deprived and just in a funk overall. I have been working like a maniac and caring for sick kids. I am so sick of drs., appts, and everything that goes along with caring for sick kids. Although, I absolutely love my kids, I just get this reality check often that it "Is what it is" What is normalcy? No idea and will never know what it is like to raise three healthy kids. Okay if it is not clear, this is yet another pity party. This is why I love this blog b/c I can have it as often as I like. That's it for me.

Few prayers for some friends;

Please pray for Marlo, Avery's future girlfriend. She is back in the hospital and having difficulties with respiratory issues. Pray for strength for her family and that she is able to go home soon and enjoy a long time home with no O2, hospital stays and just being a sweet little girl.

Also for Charlotte, a beautiful angel now that has fought so much in her young life to be here and brought joy to her family. Unfortunately, her time was limited here but please pray for strength and comfort for her parents and family.

I'm glad Janessa and Isaiah are feeling better. Poor Avery. I hope they can give him something to help ease the pain. He should have to suffer like that.

I hope you can get some sleep and that today is a better day.

Thanks for the well wishes.

Nicci,
I'm so sad that Avery is in so much pain. It must be very difficult for you. I trust that you found a drug that works for him since you posted the blog. Both of you need some sleep.
Love to all of you,
Susanna
