Another quick stay thankfully. Avery's body is still getting accustomed to the other kids at school. He keeps getting these respiratory infections that quickly resolve with IV antibiotics. I'm really hoping his body starts adjusting soon bc being in the hospital every two weeks is not quality of life for any of us. I don't want to pull him from school unless I really really have to. He ends his antibiotics on tues so hopefully he can get a good healthy stretch.

I too am done with my antibiotics on tues. I am nervous to remove this PICC line bc I worry that with having such a large abcess that it won't be fully cleared. The last thing I want is to get sick again and have another PICC line placed. I went to the drs. On Friday and the infection did not come from a UTI bc the culture was negative. So it came frim my kidney. The burning question is how the heck did it get there. Nobody knows!!!!!

Rick and I are supposed to be going to NYC for the weekend. We of course got the insurance but I really hope we don't need it. This family needs a break from hospitals for awhile.
