And poor Zay Zay doesn't look or feel any better. He is still drooling and retching tons and has sad puppy dog eyes that look at you saying "help me". I spoke to his neuro and she agrees that this is a migrane. She prescribed him methadone for pain only during his cycles. The migranes are different from CVS in that these are true headaches which can last days to weeks. Can you hear me crying....................
Migranes come on as they get older and are much harder to cure. CVS may only last a day or two, so this is no longer CVS.
We also think is has to do with him showing signs of puberty already and the hormones could trigger the migranes. She put in a referral to the endocrine dr. If we can stop the puberty then we can stop the migranes. Yeah, sounds easy right, but do you think it will be that easy. Doubt it. This is far worse than his CVS. It is truely torturous. Two kids in chronic pain, hmmmm. Still trying to keep a postive attitude. Any tips on how to do that are much appreciated.
Avery is doing pretty decent, meaning he is not in respiratory distress and screaming in spasms but he is in the middle. Not great and not horrible. So I guess that is pretty good for us.
Janessa's friend Lauren slept over and we just love her she is such a good kid. Not sure if she thinks the same of us. So the girls were up late last night (after 11pm) and she was saying her tooth was loose. Well it fell out and I was so tired and said, Oh that's good. Then off the sleep. So she wakes up the next morning upset that the tooth fairy did not come. OMG, I totally forgot. So I had to pull out a story out of nowhere on how the tooth fairy only delivers at your house. So I speak to her mother and let her know (luckily we are good friends and she knows I am a ding dong) and she said they went to Michigan and CT last month and lost a tooth at each place and the tooth fairy came. Okay so I am really a ding dong now. Hey, at least I have an excuse, RIGHT..........................
Okay now last but not least. Time to give credit where credit is due. Many of you got a kick on how I called my husband a stallion and a hottie b/c of all his weight loss. Well, he did not get there by himself. He had some help getting to his hottie status. Mainly by his friend/coworker and working out buddy Chris. So I owe you a big thanks for motivating him to workout. Keep it going, cuz if he starts snoring again, he's going to live with you. LOL.
