It was a great weekend to be home

Avery came home on Friday morning which is pretty difficult to do at Children's but there is a great crew of nurses that worked hard to make it happen. It is such a process to get discharged and can take forever to get out of there but the nurse had worked on Avery's discharge the night before :) Although Avery was playing games b/c he started to vomit when we were leaving but it was nothing severe enough to have us stay through the holiday weekend. He has been very happy. His IV antibiotics have been a royal pain in the butt because they take so long to run and it's 3xs a day (can't wait til he finishes). BTW the school caved and gave Avery what he needed for services and they are starting up tomorrow. YAY....

Isaiah has been feeling great and even went to a GI appt. while Avery was inpatient. The GI dr. and the neuro. decided to put him on phenobarb. to help alleviate his migranes so we shall see if it helps. We have tried everything and nothing seems to help so there is really nothing to lose.

Janessa has been enjoying herself at the beach with grammy since Friday. I am happy b/c it is the longest she has gone without her parents but really do miss her. I'm hoping she will come home in the next day or so. Grammy is there for 2 wks. so she can go back and forth. Lucky her. She is the only 8 yr. old I know that loves muscles and lobster (expensive taste, LOL).

Rick and I finally got to spend some quality time together this weekend and it was really nice. While Isaiah and Avery got to spend so quality brotherly time together as well. Check it out.

Glad you guys had a good weekend! Adorable pics! Kennedy is on phenobarb (for seizures)...we had to adjust her rate as it made her really sleepy during the day...so now we just give a small dose in am and big in pm and it is good. Hope it helps his migrains!
