We are on a Roll Now

A few electricians showed up today, LOL. We were so desperate for the pool to get going that I called a few and Rick called a friend and I did not remember who was who by the end of the day. Anyway, our POOL IS OPEN. Hopefully we can swim tomorrow. Better late then never. This was just so big to us b/c we never imagined that we could afford a house with an inground pool. Rick and I have been through so much and we are so happy that we can provide our kids with their very own vacation home, yearound. We are so limited on what we can do with the boys so our home has to be it. We are just very blessed.

Avery had another GREAT day today, I am starting to feel confident that I made all the right decisions for him and he WILL be okay. I am also feeling better about going away especially if he stays on this path. Rick has gotten quite adept at taking him in to Children's for his tube change, he was in/out today.

Rick and I are going strong with our challenge, he sure is encouraging me to drink my wine though, hmmmm. Very, very tempting. But whooping his but is just so much more tempting to me. Let you all know who wins this Friday's weigh in. This sure is a fun way to be healthy.

Thanks for voting too, I just love to see others opinions and all the great comments. This blog was the best thing I ever did.

Pollen count is better now. Paul had the worst year of May he's ever had in his life, and is finally able to go outside without getting a bad reaction. Wondering if that's part of the reason that Avery is better. But I know with Avery there are many things involved. Glad he's better and your pool is finally open. Swimming is a great way to lose wt.

That's awesome that the pool is in. I'm excited for you guys! Hey, Kathleen had a baby boy this morning! 9lbs, 2oz, I think. His name is Declan. I think it's fair to assume they won't be able to make it to the pool party! So sorry we won't be there either. I'm off to England tomorrow! Flying standby with Amelie, so wish us luck! I think Scott has a couple of dog trials he's going to take the girls to. He's dog training full time now, which is cool. you wouldn't believe how many dogs we have in the house at any one time. Rick, you'd love it! We're in the middle of building a new room for them though. Hurray!

Anyway, I'll be back early next week (field trip week). Maybe be can figure something out after that. I'm going to work mornings only for the summer program, so that the girls can stay at home (with Scott in the mornings, and me in the afternoons), so we'll have lots of time for visits soon...!

OK. Have a great party on Saturday!

Alison.
