So this is my blog. Yay. Gosh our family life is so crazy and always a story to tell. This is a really great way to get it out without any judgement. It's mine and I can do what I want. Well for those of you that don't know us.
I am mommy of 3 very special kiddos and a great husband. I have Janessa you is 6 yrs and very beautiful and witty and God gave us her first in preparation for what was to come. Janessa actually means gracious and merciful. She is just the fire in our life that we need. So intuitive and loving and basically everything we imagined in a daughter.
Next is Isaiah which means gift from God. He truely is with all of his challenges. He is the sweetest sole I know. Isaiah was diagnosed at 5 mos. old with mitochondrial disease. He is 100% tube fed, deaf but has a cochlear implant, nonambulatory but a wild rolling man nonetheless. He suffers from CVS which is basically migranes which causes him to wretch horribly. But when he feels good he is the happiest little character there is.
Last but not least is Avery which means courageous. He is what we call the primadonna of the family. Also very handsome with his killer eyelashes and curly cues and a smile that lights up a room. Avery also suffers from the same illness as Isaiah. He is certainly a fighter.
Then there is the main man in my life, Rick aka daddy. Only the greatest most generous guy I know. He gives so much to others and mostly his family. I could not be more happy for him as he is living his life dream which is his job. He is a high school basketball coach and a teacher. Now that may sound like, okay, and, but the is coaching for a very prestigious school with some kids who are underprivelaged and still this man is completely amazing and dedicated to what he does. And this is why I love him. He is as dedicated to his work as he is to his job because that is the type of man he is.
So the there is ME. Nicky. Well what can I say. I think that I am a good hearted fun loving, hard working, great mom who just tries her best. Yes of course I have faults (which I know every single one of them) but, I have come from a very tough upbringing with a dad that was murdered and living on the streets to growing up in the projects on/off welfare. To a girl who has earned a masters degree by age 23 as an Audiologist. I have been dealt this hand which is a blessing by can be VERY difficult. I am strong and very positive but am human and have some bad days as well. I love to have fun, laugh, hang out with the family.
So that is the introduction into the Nault family.
