I am already behind on my postings, sorry. That for now means that things have been pretty quiet lately. The boys still have c diff which can take a while to clear up, which means that Avery will not get his cochlear implant until at least the end of August. Janessa is going to the beach with her grammy for about a week. I don't think her or us will make it that long without her. I am thinking Monday she will be home.
Today with the absolute highlight of the week or even few weeks. This was the first happy drs. appt. we have ever had. Isaiah went to the Augmentive Communication clinic which is basically a place that works with a speech therapist and occupational therapist to help give him a form of communication which he so desperately needs. He is SO SMART. He blew the therapists away with how quickly he caught onto things. He is able to make consistent choices about what he wants by hitting a switch that talks. Me and my nurse were in tears b/c he is just so amazing. I can't wait to get him started on a means of communicating. There is no ceiling for this boy and his laughter just brings tears to your eyes. He is just the sweetest guy I know.
