Special Day

I think I mentiond a couple of posts ago that I was taking the boys to their first Central basketball game. We had been planning it for weeks and despite our planning only the boys will predict how the day will go. Can I just say that Rick was so excited in the weeks leading to the day. If you know him then you know how private he is, thus why I started the blog. If you ask Rick how the boys are doing, things are always "fine" no matter the circumstance :). He is just the type of guy that doesn't want to get into it ( just like his daughter) so you get the general statement. But, I know this day was BIG for him. his boys, his heart. So when the McCarthy's called the night before wanting to do a picture with the boys and the team, I was elated. It was perfect....I mean it is not an easy task taking these two guys out for the day. Especially Isaiah, who hates to be away from his tv ( thank god for the iPad). B/c he struggled but Avery had a blast, he especially liked the Cheerleaders :). So I want to give a HUGE thanks to the McCarthys , the Central team and Tommy Sispy :) for getting us there). What a Special game and it didn't hurt that Central won by 30 points.
