Yay, Good news for once. I have been housebound with the boys the last couple of days b/c no nurses and normally I would be completely stir crazy b/c Avery has such difficult days. But I am happy to report that the Valium seems to be helping him. I think we were just so behind on the pain that it was too far gone. I have been giving him round the clock pain meds and we are finally seeing the benefits. I am seeing my Avery and it is soooo good. He is laughing out loud, looks good and just a great site to see for once. Isaiah is feeling so so but of course always manages to smile and still get himself into trouble.
I just pray that we can keep Avery feeling good b/c it is just horrible to see him the way he has been.

i just caught up on your posts ... i hadn't been able to check your site for a while. i'm so sorry to hear about the pain avery has been experiencing, but i am also so glad to hear that it seems to be getting better and that he is more himself lately! i also wanted to say that i'm sad to hear about your friends that recently lost a child and those that just found out that their child has mito ... my prayers and thoughts are with them. the pictures on your site are sooo beautiful! love you.
