It has been a sad couple of days in the Mito world. This is just such a nasty and unpredicatable disease. We lost a little guy named Corey who has battled the demon for a couple of yrs. Prayers go out the the family who also have a young daughter with a progressive form of it as well.
Also immediate prayers are needed for a sweet little guy who the family just learned he has mito. He is in ICU and on ECMO (heart lung machine) due to a rare infection in his central line. Please visit the family at www.missyknight.blogspot.com
All if this just keeps reminding us of the nature and reality of this disease. Hard not to feel really sad.

I have been praying a lot for many children...It is so hard sometimes just knowing and going through all the realities this disease brings!
