I think Avery decided that he wanted no part of getting rid of his tube after all the trauma it was to change it, lol. He had a great day with Daddy yesterday and has slept the past two nights now. So it seems that it was most likely a pseudo obstruction and hopefully his gut is starting to wake up again. Yay....
So they will slowly transition his meds. to his tube and start feeds again. I expect him to be home in a few days as I don't want to rush into transitioning everything and ultimately be back in the same positon. I am sure down the road we will have to address the issues with his turning intestines as his tube changes are getting much more difficult. He is also going to be starting a new med. to help with gut pain. Hopefully this is not going to be a regular occurance with his gut b/c that would mean much more hospital stays.
