Avery had a VERY rough start to his day. He woke up screaming his head off looking like he was going to bite his tongue b/c he pain was so bad. His heartrate was all over the place. He settled within an hr. but I have never seen him that bad for no apparent reason. Of course the residents chalked it up to gas "as I rolled my eyes" .
We waited in preop for over 2 hrs. as the surgeon was running behind. But he is finally in the OR now. So please pray that they are able to easily insert a new line.
