Back home again

I just love these quick in and out. Avery looked great all day. He does in fact have pneumonia in the left lobe and his white count was elevated consistent an infection. The x-rays were also consistent (which are so brutal, I can see how he broke his arms last yr). The ER dr. knew us from being frequent flyers and was really good and thorough. He contacted all our drs who apparently were not surprised we were in there. They agreed to send him home with oral antibiotics and if they don't work then start the steriods. They have scheduled a team meeting for next week to help come to some resolution or help w/ all of these pneumonia's. So I feel very blessed to be home and get some sleep as I have nursing tonight.
