A dramatic Change for Avery

As you know Avery went for a G-tube change,Well G-Tube is the least of the worries. Avery now has the Flu. This is not good for Avery, this is quite dramatic for him. He is requiring much more intervention. If he continues to struggle with breathing they will have to move him to ICU. He is on oxgen, the next step is Cpap if he does not get any better. Nicki says that he is still looking gray, but she is optomistic and with many prayers from everyone, they will get through this trial. This appears to be more seriuos then we have seen in the past. Please everyone, take a few minutes out of your day to say a prayer for Avery and the family. I will keep everyone posted as I am informed by Nicki. Thanks Sherri

I will pray for Avery to get over yet another trial. May the angels surround him.

Hey Nicki,
I was with my parents when they talked to you tonight, and I am just so proud of you for the strength and faith you have. You are truly an inspiration. I want you to know that we prayed for you and Avery and your family as soon as we got off of the phone. And we will continue to pray for you all. You are absolutely right, that God won't give any of us more than we can handle. He has been forming you into such a beautiful, strong, inspiring woman of faith, and I couldn't be more thankful that your precious children have such amazing parents. You have such a beautiful family, and you're right, Avery is such a fighter, and I believe he will get through this.
I wish so much that we lived closer and that I could be there to help out. Please know that I want to help however I can, whenever I can. And I will always pray, but if I can ever help you in other ways, I really want to do that.
A quote I heard that I thought was beautiful is "when life is bleakest, plant a tree in your heart, and maybe someday a bird will come and sing."
I love you, Nicki, and I'm so glad you're my cousin.

love,

Jaime
